Both spinning for Mackerel or using feathers have got to be the best methods for mackerel fishing. The classic Mepps spinner or a Blue Fox Spinner are old favourites or a traditional Abu Toby style spinner is almost always a banker. With feathers, use bright colours or just white and when the mackerel are feeding well a 6 hook trace could easily yield six fish.
