The NFSA (National Federation of Sea Anglers)
are the key representatives for the sport of Angling here in the UK. As much as they act on our
behalf in the promotion of the sport they also work hard to encourage
good practices for the retention of a good name for sea anglers and
to conserve the environment with which we interact and rely on.
As an angler, whether
a member of an organisation or not you will need to abide by the rules
of the sport as recommended by the NFSA. The key points which you will
need to know are outlined in this section.
There is also a Scottish Federation of Sea Anglers, a Welsh Federation
of Sea Anglers and an Irish Federation of Sea Anglers. Should you require
details more specific to Scotland, Wales or Ireland, these organisations
should be able to help you.
