An excellent method for mackerel fishing in quantities but also very versatile for many other species such as Garfish, Black Bream and Herring. Mackerel tend to feed hungrily together in shoals and are greedy for anything bright or flashing which even remotely resembles a shoal of small fish. At the right time you could easily drop a 6 feather trace into the water and retrieve it with each of the feathers taken.
